Rolling submission for tattoos begins December 2009 (send whenever you want, and we'll take a look)
First Print Edition, some time in 2010, if funding is available
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES AS FOLLOWS:

POETRY
Four poems in the message box-no attachments-include name and e-mail. All POETRY submissions must
express the theme. No previously published poems unless invited, simultaneous subs okay.
PLEASE SUBMIT ONLY ONCE PER SUBMISSION PERIOD.
TATTOOS
Four or more tattoo photos as jpegs, normal resolution. Tattoo submitters can be the tattoo wearer, the
tattoo artist (if not the artist of the original design), the original artist, or the photographer. In each case,
please include the names of everyone involved. TATTOO submissions should express the theme, but you
may submit any style tattoo, as you never know the direction the editor will take with the theme.
No bios needed at submission.
Please note that your work always remains yours. Holly Rose Review (HRR) follows the proper legal
avenue when accepting poetry and art: all poets/artists sign a first North American electronic
publication rights release form, which states that the poet/artist has full copyright of the work, giving
HRR license to publish it in its online journal and archives. All other rights remain the poet's/artist's at
publication. Furthermore, each page on the site that includes a poem or tattoo is copyrighted per each
individual poet and artist. If work is included in the online store, a written merchandise agreement is
established and executed.
SO IF YOUR WORK IS "OUT THERE" VIA HRR, IT'S COPYRIGHT PROTECTED AS BEST AS IT'S GOING
TO BE VIA THE INTERNET.
No payment for work at this time, but we will include your bio and link to your web site and/or blog.
